EAGLES ROUT RIVAL GLENCOE IN 80TH MEETING IN THE SERIES

After a game-opening interception on their first possession, Hokes Bluff scored on five consecutive possessions to take a commanding lead over the Yellow Jackets and never looked back.

Many believe the game at Wright Field in Roanoke between Handley and Jacksonville was an early season region title matchup.  The Tigers outlasted the Golden Eagles to win 32-24.  In the photo, FNN Week 1 Player of the Week, E J Goss stretches across the line to score Handley's final touchdown of the night.
